#157 – Tuesday, June 24th
Six-days on the north side of the canyon, three of those camped in Clear Creak. Our evening ritual? Watching the sun set on The Howlands Butte. We’d find our positions as the sun ignited the butte’s southern edge, and stay fixated, spellbound, until dark.
A Saguaro fruit splayed out, photographed during a ride down one of my favorite mountain bike trails.
The remnants of mixing color and a project needing holes punched.
It’s that kind of Tuesday, connected by red.
Thanks for reading.

The Saguaro fruits are littering the trails, the most amazing red, a feast for birds and beasts . . . thank you!

hey Holly,
I do enjoy my reds . . . your comment sparked my trundling into the way back machine, and here are links to two of my all time favorites . . . in red
